Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Neil W. Townsend and David B. Cosgrove have joined the firm as partners. They will practice in the Corporate and Financial Services Department and Private Equity Practice Group in the New York office.

Mr. Townsend, formerly a partner and co-leader of Bingham McCutchen’s Private Equity Practice Group, and Mr. Cosgrove, also formerly a partner and member of Bingham’s
Private Equity Practice Group, represent private equity funds and other financial sponsors and hedge funds in the structuring, negotiation, financing, implementation and restructuring of leveraged buyouts and other investments. They also represent public and private companies in strategic acquisitions, dispositions and securities transactions, and in a broad range of joint venture, capital raising and restructuring transactions.
