Two Prominent Partners Join Milbank’s Global Corporate Group

International law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP has announced that David Zeltner and Jane Morgan have joined the firm as partners in the Global Corporate Group in the New York office.

David Zeltner is joining Milbank as a senior member of our Global Corporate Group. Mr. Zeltner’s practice focuses on the representation of both public companies and private equity firms in merger and acquisition transactions, including contests for corporate control.  In addition, he focuses on counseling boards of directors, managements and investors on corporate governance and securities matters.  Mr. Zeltner is also experienced in joint ventures,  “club” deals and minority investments in public companies. He obtained his J.D. from Stanford University and a B.S. from Cornell University. Mr. Zeltner was previously a partner with Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and a senior member of the New York office’s private equity deal execution team.
Jane Morgan is joining Milbank as a senior member of our Global Corporate Group. Ms. Morgan’s practice focuses on the representation of private equity firms and their portfolio companies and financial services companies (including asset managers and hedge funds) in merger and acquisition transactions.  In addition, she is experienced in the purchase and sale of lending and leasing companies and portfolios of financial assets such as leveraged leases, mortgages, loans and related products.  Ms. Morgan obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas and B.A. from Rice University. She was previously a partner in the Corporate Department of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP and co-head of the Financial Services practice.
