New Partners Join Chapman and Cutler LLP

Chapman and Cutler LLP is pleased to announce that James J. Croke and Peter C. Manbeck, formerly of Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP, joined the firm January 24, 2011, as partners in the asset securitization group in the New York office.

Both Mr. Croke and Mr. Manbeck are well-known and highly regarded in the securitization industry. At Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, where the pair worked together previously, Mr. Croke was head of the London capital markets department and instrumental in the legal development of the European ABCP market. He has also served as a member of the board of directors of the Asset Securitization Forum and on the faculty of the Practicing Law Institute with respect to developments in the asset backed commercial paper sector. Mr. Croke is internationally recognized as a top structured finance attorney, including by Euromoney’s Best of the Best, the International Financial Law Review, and the Legal 500.
