FLH Welcomes New Partners Christian Samay and Joseph Safia

Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP proudly welcomes two new partners to our team— Christian Samay and Joseph Saphia.

Christian Samay

Mr. Samay is an experienced civil trial lawyer litigating Intellectual Property and other disputes in federal and state courts across the United States.  His particular expertise in trade secrets litigation and matters for emergent injunctive relief across a broad range of industries will be invaluable to the team at FLH. In addition to his traditional litigation practice, Mr. Samay maintains a transactional and IP/IT counseling practice that seamlessly fits with the engineering culture of FLH.

Prior to joining FLH, Christian was a partner at SNR Denton, Reed Smith LLP and McCarter & English, LLP. Earlier in his career, he served as general counsel and EVP of a New Jersey-headquartered nationwide technology and telecommunications company focused on the delivery of secure VoIP solutions to businesses.

Joseph Saphia

With his extensive background in intellectual property, particularly patent litigation, licensing and counseling, Mr. Saphia has represented clients that range from technology start-up companies to large pharmaceutical companies.

“FLH is very pleased to add a partner with years of very significant experience and successes,” says Ed Haug, Managing Partner. “Joe adds to our thriving Life Sciences Practice as well as Business Methods Litigation.”

Mr. Saphia joins FLH from Wiggin and Dana LLP. Prior to that, he was Counsel in the Lovells Intellectual Property Litigation Department.
