Squire Sanders Bolsters Global Restructuring Capabilities with Addition of Nava Hazan in New York Office

Squire Sanders announced today that financial restructuring lawyer Nava Hazan has joined the firm as a partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency Practice Group, resident in the New York office.

Hazan has over 13 years of experience advising on cross-border insolvency matters, including Chapter 15 cases, and has represented foreign liquidators in the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, and Antigua. She has also represented Chapter 11 debtors, official committees of unsecured creditors, individual creditors, debtor-in-possession lenders, plan sponsors, and purchasers of distressed assets in Chapter 11 cases.

Hazan is a citizen of the United States, France, and Israel and admitted to practice in Paris, France and New York. She was educated at the University of Paris I and received a Master of Laws from Columbia University School of Law in New York.
