To bolster the firm’s presence in the Midwest, national law firm Wilson Elser has joined forces with Milwaukee firm Leib & Katt, LLC to open the firm’s first office in Wisconsin. Opening its doors on January 1, 2013, the office will be the AmLaw 100 firm’s 24th U.S. office and the third opened in the past two years.

Highly regarded in the areas of medical malpractice and aviation law, Mr. Leib and Mr. Katt, respectively, will bolster Wilson Elser’s already strong national presence in these areas.

On January 1, 2013, 11 attorneys and 13 staff will be working under the Wilson Elser moniker from their offices at 740 North Plankinton Avenue. Mr. Katt has been named regional managing partner of that office.
