Jones Day Welcomes Lorne S. Cantor and Evan A. Kanter to the Miami Office

The global law firm Jones Day announces that Lorne Cantor and Evan Kanter have joined the Firm’s M&A Practice as partners in its Miami Office.  The pair join from the Miami office of Greenberg Traurig LLP.

A South Florida native, Mr. Cantor’s practice is focused on representing multinational companies in connection with their M&A, joint venture, and financing transactions. He has significant experience representing companies in the gaming, hospitality and transportation sectors where he has represented both industry and private equity clients. Mr. Cantor has also led numerous transactions in regulated industries and in addition to U.S. domestic matters, is currently representing clients on multiple cross-border transactions in various jurisdictions.

Mr. Kanter’s experience also includes numerous transactions in the gaming and hospitality sectors, as well as medical technology and healthcare sectors.
