Hunton & Williams LLP Expands National Litigation Practice with Addition of Paul Huck Jr. in Miami

Hunton & Williams LLP announces Paul C. Huck Jr. joined the firm’s national litigation practice as a partner in the Miami office. A former general counsel to Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (2007-2008), Huck enjoyed an extensive legal career in both the private and public sectors, and has represented entities and individuals in complex commercial litigation and cases of constitutional significance before state and federal trial and appellate courts. Prior to his tenure as the governor’s general counsel, he served as the deputy attorney general for the State of Florida. Huck was recently appointed by Florida Gov. Rick Scott to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the trial courts in Miami-Dade County and previously served on the Board of Governors of the South Florida Water Management District, which manages environmental litigation related to the Everglades.

“We are excited to have Paul join the firm’s litigation practice. He is a strong addition to our team,” remarked Juan C. Enjamio, managing partner in the Miami office. “Paul’s experience is an asset to our clients facing litigation and investigation matters in the, environmental and water management, telecommunications, health care, and pharmaceutical sectors, among others.”

An undergraduate of Princeton University, Huck received his law degree from Harvard Law School, clerked for The Honorable Stanley Marcus (United States District Court Judge for the Southern District of Florida), and was a partner in a Miami commercial litigation boutique firm. Huck joins Hunton & Williams from litigation boutique firm Colson Hicks Eidson where he practiced after his service in the public sector.
