Sherry Skibbe Rejoins Seyfarth’s Labor & Employment Department in Los Angeles

Seyfarth today announced that Sherry Skibbe has rejoined the firm in Los Angeles as a partner in the Labor & Employment department. Skibbe returns to Seyfarth from Faraday Future, where she served as assistant general counsel.

For over a decade at Seyfarth, Skibbe represented employers in all aspects of employment law, including defense of wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, unfair competition and wage and hour claims. She has significant experience defending companies against wage and hour class and collective actions involving both federal and state law claims for companies in the insurance, financial, mortgage and retail industries.

At Faraday Future, Skibbe advised senior executives and human resources with respect to employment law issues, including business restructuring, employment policy creation and application, worker classification, workforce management, discrimination and harassment claims, wage-and-hour, immigration and workplace safety.

Skibbe earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of California’s Hastings College of Law. She received a M.I.A. from Columbia University’s School of International and Political Affairs and earned her B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
