Ogletree Deakins Deepens Wage and Hour Litigation Team, Adds Two Shareholders to Firm’s Southern California Offices

Ogletree Deakins, one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management, is pleased to announce that Paloma Peracchio and Mitch Wrosch, formerly partners at Burke, Williams & Sorensen, LLP., join the firm as shareholders in its Los Angeles and Orange County offices, respectively. Peracchio and Wrosch focus their practices almost exclusively on private sector wage and hour class and representative actions. The two join more than 125 California-based lawyers across Ogletree Deakins’ six offices in the state who represent management in labor and employment law matters.

“We believe this is an excellent opportunity to welcome two talented attorneys in an area of our practice that is in high demand in California,” said Matt Keen, Ogletree Deakins’ managing shareholder.

Peracchio represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour, class action, PAGA representative actions, discrimination, retaliation, harassment, whistleblower, including law and motion, discovery, settlement negotiations, trial preparation, and at trial. She earned her J.D. from Loyola Law School and her B.A. from the University of Oregon.

Wrosch represents employers in complex wage and hour class and representative actions, and in a variety of wrongful termination matters, including discrimination, retaliation, and whistleblower claims. He works closely with corporate counsel to assess potential exposure from employment practices and procedures. Earlier in his career, Wrosch was an attorney in the Office of the California Attorney General. He earned his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a B.A., with honors, from the University of Michigan.
