Reck also defends clients, including through trial, in litigation regarding contamination in various media, climate change, the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), single plaintiff and mass tort actions, and other litigation matters.

“We are excited to have Belynda join K&L Gates’ Los Angeles office,” said Timothy Pierce, managing partner of K&L Gates’ Los Angeles office. “She is a dynamic lawyer who will immediately contribute to both the office and firmwide environmental practice. Her addition is a solid step towards our objective to expand the K&L Gates presence in California.”

K&L Gates’ environment, land and natural resources practice has over 100 lawyers across offices in the United States, European Union, and the Asia Pacific region, including lawyers who previously served in U.S. federal and state regulatory and enforcement agencies such as the EPA, Department of Justice, Department of Energy, Department of Transportation, and the National Marine Fisheries Service. The group routinely works to support clients on permitting, development, compliance, enforcement, and litigation matters.
