Vincent Green Joins Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck as Partner in Firm’s Los Angeles Office

Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck LLP (KDV), a leading national law firm, today announced that Vincent S. Green, a trial attorney with 35 years of experience in both federal and state courts, has joined the firm as a partner in its Los Angeles office.

Green defends a broad range of professional liability and errors & omissions claims in a variety of industries, most notably legal malpractice. He also counsels attorneys on other legal matters. Green joins Kaufman Dolowich & Voluck from Nemecek & Cole, where he was a member in the firm’s Sherman Oaks, CA office.

“Vince’s experience and trial skills in both federal and state courts will be a great asset to the firm and our clients,” said Michael A. Kaufman, co-managing partner of KDV. “His experience in the military, government and private practice has enabled him to hone his skills as a keen negotiator and team builder.”

Green served as a JAGC in the US Army where he defended more than 200 soldiers at court martial. After leaving the Army, he clerked for Justice Robert Morgan of the South Dakota Supreme Court. Green was twice elected to the South Dakota State Legislature and served as minority leader of the House for two years. He is also the author of two courtroom novels and is working on a third. Green was Phi Beta Kappa and earned his B.G.S. degree from the University of Michigan, his M.F.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Washburn University School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California, Kansas and South Dakota.

“I am looking forward to being a part of the KDV Los Angeles office and helping the firm to grow the errors and omissions practice both regionally and nationally,” said Green. “Their practice and stellar reputation in the insurance defense space is one of the key reasons I was interested in joining the firm.”

Green is the third partner to join the KDV Los Angeles office this month. Dean Herman, who has more than 30 years of experience in insurance industry and business litigation, and Hee Young Lee, who has represented insurers and policy holders for more than a decade, joined the firm on June 3.  In addition, one senior counsel and three associates have also joined the Los Angeles office this month.
