Pulina Whitaker has joined the Firm as a partner in the Labor & Employment Practice. She is based in the London Office. Prior to joining the firm, Whitaker was with Morgan Lewis & Bockius LLP in London.
Ms. Whitaker has 25 years of experience advising clients on matters that encompass employment and data privacy issues. She has particular experience managing key employment matters in sales and acquisitions, commercial outsourcing, and business restructurings. She regularly advises on international employee misconduct investigations and defense strategies in response to a wide range of employment and data privacy allegations and claims-including bullying, harassment, unfair dismissal, discrimination, whistleblowing, breach of data processing, and employment contract claims, and she supports cross-border data breach investigations.

At Jones Day, Ms. Whitaker joins a top-ranked global Labor & Employment Practice, which includes more than 130 lawyers worldwide. She will work alongside the Firm’s senior-level employment lawyers to advise clients facing employment discrimination, harassment, wage-hour, and restrictive covenant cases in federal and state courts.

Ms. Whitaker earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Bristol and her law degree from the College of Law of England and Wales. She is ranked by Legal 500 as a leading practitioner and is described as being “a key name for issues covering employment and data privacy work.”
