International law firm McDermott Will & Emery, working closely with Stonehage’s in-house counsel, is advising Stonehage on its proposed merger with Fleming Family & Partners to form Stonehage Fleming Family and Partners. The merger of these two firms will form the largest independent multi-family office in Europe, the Middle East & Africa. The combined group will administer more than $43 billion of assets including more than $11 billion of assets under management, and serve over 250 families.
The merger is subject to certain conditions.
The McDermott team is led by London corporate partner Rupert Weber.
