Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Ed Barnett will join the firm’s London office as a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. Barnett’s broad practice spans a variety of cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions, including public takeovers, takeover defense, joint ventures, divestments, refinancings and initial public offerings. His practice also focuses on company representation work, including advising on a range of corporate governance matters and counselling special committees of boards of directors.
