Eversheds Sutherland (International) has hired Richard Streeter as a new partner. Richard joins from CMS, marking a return to the firm at which he launched his career.
Richard specialises in the construction and operation of renewable energy assets, and has advised on over 20 offshore wind farm projects, as well as a large number of onshore wind farm projects across Europe.
He has particular experience in drafting and negotiating turbine supply and service & availability agreements, as well as negotiating various balance of plant contracts with a wide number of suppliers in the onshore and offshore renewables supply chain. Richard also advises on a broad range of initiatives in the renewables sector including long term operation and maintenance agreements, OFTO strategy, reducing the cost of energy, and increasing local content.
Prior to joining CMS, Richard was Senior Legal Counsel in the UK for DONG Energy, one of the world’s leading offshore wind power companies, responsible for the construction and operation of its offshore wind farms.
