Clyde & Co Strengthens Global Arbitration Group With New Partner Hire

Clyde & Co is one of the world’s leading dispute resolution law firms and has more than 1,000 legal professionals specialising in litigation and arbitration worldwide. Its Global Arbitration Group comprises of more than 200 lawyers and has a current caseload of over 400 live arbitrations globally.

Richard Power is a leading lawyer in energy industry disputes and has more than 15 years’ experience. He joins from Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) where he was Co-Head of International Arbitration and Head of Energy Disputes.

During his time at BLP Richard developed a successful international practice with a focus on complex cross-border matters in the energy sector. He also has expertise in outsourcing, commercial banking and insolvency-related disputes.

Richard’s hire is the latest in a number of appointments to the Global Arbitration Group over the last 18 months. Other partners joining the global practice recently include June Yeum (New York & Asia), Patrick Zheng (Beijing), Christopher Jobson (Abu Dhabi), Brian Dunning (New York) and Prakash Pillai (Singapore).
