Mr. Moss comes to Shearman & Sterling from Mayer Brown LLP, where he was a partner. Prior to that, he was in-house counsel at Barclays, where he handled bankruptcy and restructuring matters for the bank in the US for a variety of internal clients, negotiating and reviewing restructuring documentation and documentation for DIP and exit financings, as well as structuring financial transactions to mitigate bankruptcy risk. Mr. Moss assisted the prime services group and other transactional areas of the bank on netting and other bankruptcy issues relating to futures, derivatives and commodities.
