Fisher & Phillips LLP, a national labor and employment law firm, announces its expansion into Seattle. Davis C. Bae, a respected immigration attorney with a national practice, will lead the office as its Managing Partner. Joining him are Partners Nick Beermann and Catharine Morisset and Of Counsel Robert Neale. Clarence Belnavis, a Fisher & Phillips Partner in Portland, Oregon, and a Washington resident, will split his time between the Seattle and Portland offices.

Bae focuses his practice on providing effective immigration solutions for companies in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the United States. Bae’s clients are leaders in fields such as software, design, construction, manufacturing, utilities, fine arts, sports, international trade, and engineering. He is a frequent speaker before business and employer associations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Washington State Bar Association, the National Association of General Contractors, and the Society of Human Resource Management. Locke Lord Counsels Enterprise in $2.15 Billion Purchase of Eagle Ford Shale Midstream Assets From Pioneer

A team of Locke Lord lawyers led by Terry Radney and including Joe Perillo, Dale Smith, Hunter Summerford and Walker Clarke, provided counsel to Enterprise Products Operating, LLC (“Enterprise”) in its $2.15 billion purchase of the Eagle Ford Shale Midstream business (EFS Midstream) of Pioneer Natural Resources Company (“Pioneer”) and Reliance Holding USA, Inc. (“Reliance”). Assistant General Counsel Charlie San Miguel led the legal team at Enterprise on the deal. The transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and normal closing adjustments. Perkins Coie Represents Strategic Hotels & Resorts in $750 Million Revolving Credit Facility

Perkins Coie represented client Strategic Hotels & Resorts, Inc. (NYSE:BEE), a real estate investment trust (REIT) which owns and provides value enhancing asset management of high-end hotels and resorts in the United States and Europe, in a $750 million unsecured term loan and revolving credit facility with an accordion feature allowing for additional borrowing capacity up to $250 million. The new facility replaced a prior credit facility secured by an equity pledge in direct and indirect subsidiaries that own, lease or operate five luxury and upper-upscale full service hotels included the REIT’s portfolio. The unsecured facility is supported by a pool of unencumbered assets that will initially consist of nine of the company’s hotels: the Fairmont Chicago, Fairmont Scottsdale Princess, Four Seasons Austin, Four Seasons Jackson Hole, Four Seasons Scottsdale Resort at Troon North, Four Seasons Silicon Valley, Marriott Lincolnshire, Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel and Westin St. Francis.
