Weil Advises Intel Corporation in its $16.7 Billion Acquisition of Altera Corporation

Weil is advising Intel Corporation in its definitive agreement to acquire Altera Corporation in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $16.7 billion. The deal will integrate Intel’s leading-edge products and manufacturing process with Altera’s field-programmable gate array technology, enabling new classes of products in the data center and Internet of Things market segments.
