Reed Smith Expands Corporate Practice in San Francisco

Global law firm Reed Smith LLP today announced the addition of Scott C. Smith as a partner in the firm’s Global Corporate Group in San Francisco. Smith was most recently a partner at Hanson Bridgett. Smith’s addition is the latest in a number of lateral hires that the firm has announced in San Francisco since the beginning of 2017: Paul Mohun, former Associate General Counsel at Gap, Inc., joined the firm at the beginning of February; and a team of five state tax attorneys from Morrison Foerester, led by Andres Vallejo, joined on February 27. Barnes & Thornburg Adds Intellectual Property Partner in Atlanta

Barnes & Thornburg LLP has added Robert Lockwood to its Atlanta office as a partner in the Intellectual Property Department. Lockwood was previously a partner at Burr & Forman LLP.

Lockwood helps clients manage their intellectual property portfolios and advises on trademark licensing and prosecution, trade dress, copyright, domain name and technology issues.
