Armstrong Teasdale proudly announces that five attorneys and five professional staff have joined the firm’s offices in Las Vegas, Philadelphia, New York City and St. Louis. This comes on the heels of the firm’s Jan. 2 announcement that 18 attorneys were named partners. The five new attorneys as of Jan. 6 include: Partners Alicia Ashcraft, Jeffrey Barr, Timothy Bergère, Herbert Cohen and Associate John Sun. They join over 520 attorneys and staff firmwide. Ms. Ashcraft and Mr. Barr join the firm from Ashcraft & Barr LLP in Las Vegas. Mr. Bergère and Mr. Cohen join from Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads, LLP and Stiefel Cohen & Foote, P.C. respectively.

Cooley is expanding its global product safety, compliance and liability team with the addition of Matt Howsare, who joins as special counsel based in Washington, DC, where he will lead Cooley’s North American product safety practice. Troutman Sanders and Pepper Hamilton have agreed to merge effective April 1, 2020. The new law firm, Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders LLP, or “Troutman Pepper,” will have 1,100 attorneys in 23 offices across the country.
