McCarter Broadens Its Energy Capabilities with Addition of Randy Elliott

McCarter & English is pleased to have Randy Elliott rejoin the firm as a partner in the Washington, DC, office in the Environment & Energy Practice Group. Randy was most recently senior director, regulatory counsel for the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association (NRECA), and prior to that regulatory counsel for the American Public Power Association (APPA). He represented the associations in matters concerning such issues as capacity markets, electric storage, distributed energy resources, and the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act.

Barnes & Thornburg Adds Skilled Litigator, Joseph Matteo, in New York Office

Joseph A. Matteo, an accomplished commercial litigator, has joined Barnes & Thornburg as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department. Former Justice Department Civil Division Head Jody Hunt to Join Alston & Bird

Alston & Bird today announced that Joseph (Jody) Hunt, former U.S. Department of Justice assistant attorney general who led the department’s Civil Division, will join the firm in its Litigation & Trial Practice Group. A 21-year veteran of the Justice Department who served under both Republican and Democratic Administrations, Hunt will join the firm in August and be based in its Washington, D.C. and Atlanta offices.
