Hogan Lovells announced today that Compliance specialist Olaf Schneider will join the firm and become a partner at in the Compliance & Investigations department. His first day with the firm is on 16 September. Olaf Schneider was most recently General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer as well as Executive Vice President at the industrial services provider Bilfinger. Prior to this position, he was General Counsel of Siemens’ industrial division and Chief Compliance Officer at MAN. He has also held various management positions at General Electric.

James D. Schultz has joined Holland & Knight in Philadelphia as a partner in the firm’s Public Policy & Regulation Practice Group and will lead its Northeast Government Advocacy Team. Mr. Schultz served as senior associate counsel and special assistant to the president during the first year of the Trump administration. Previously, he was general counsel to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He moved to Holland & Knight from Cozen O’Connor, where he was chair of the firm’s government and regulatory practice.
