Iovine will further strengthen the firm’s M&A team, which had an extraordinary year in 2021, having advised on some of the highest-profile transactions of the year, including Oracle Corporation’s US$28.3 billion acquisition of Cerner Corporation and IBM’s worldwide separation and reorganization of its managed infrastructure services business, Kyndryl Holdings, Inc. Iovine is the fourth corporate partner to join the New York office this month. He joins Hogan Lovells from the New York office of Paul Hastings, where he was a partner.
