O’Melveny announced today that former federal prosecutor Sid Mody has joined the firm’s Dallas office as a partner in its White Collar Defense & Corporate Investigations Practice Group, as well as the firm’s Fintech, National Security, and Data Security & Privacy Groups. Mody comes to O’Melveny from the National Security, Cybercrime, and Money-Laundering Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Texas, where he prosecuted cryptocurrency, cyberfraud, ransomware, and hacking cases, and was the office’s Digital Currency Crimes Coordinator and the National Security Cyber Specialist.
