John Briggs, now 65, joined Howrey in 1973. He has spent his entire career there, until now. Briggs has just taken on a position at Axinn, Veltrop & Harkrider as the firm’s new managing partner in Washington, D.C. This is not his first experience in management roles, as greater portion of his 35 years with Howrey in such roles.
