This is the fourth consecutive year that Kennedy has had the most completed transactions (both in closed private and venture capital deals) than all other Southeastern law firms.

Dechert announces an addition to its New York office with the hiring of senior funds specialist Kevin Scanlan. Scanlan, who joins as partner, left Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe for Dechert. Compared to 2006’s total of $40.3 billion, this means a 16 percent increase.
