Robert Lewis, the head of Lovells’ Beijing office, has left the firm to join Allbright. He leaves Lovells the same day that the firm officially merges with Hogan on May 1st. Lewis has spent the last nine years with Lovells.

Shearman & Sterling has appointed Robert Ellison as the firm’s São Paulo managing partner. Partner Antonia Stolper is now the Latin America practice leader. Ellison arrived in São Paulo two years ago from Rome, where he was managing partner for six years. Stolper has had more than 30 years of life and work experience in the city.
