D.C. Telecom Group Joins Fish and Richardson

Fish and Richardson has added four lawyers to its Washington regulatory practice.  The group, led by Shirley Fujimoto, was previously at McDermott.  Also moving are Jeffrey Sheldon, David Rines, and Kevin Cookler.  The attorneys bring a wealth of experience in broadband, smart grids, and other communications issues.

Pinsents Loses Co-Head

Pinsent Mason has lost a co-head of its London restructuring practice to Olswang. Prior to joining Pinsents in 2006, Seamas Gray practice at DLA Piper. This is a major snag for Olswang.

Dickstein Shapiro Boosts IP Group

Dickstein Shapiro has snagged two trademark partners for its New York office. Clark Lackert and Keith Sharkin have joined the firm from King & Spalding. Growing its IP practice has been one of Dickstein’s goals and it would appear as if it is succeeding.

Sonnenschein Takes on New Partner

Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal’s Washington office has been joined by Todd Daubert. Daubert joins the Washington office as a partner from Kelley Drye & Warren, where he had practiced for 13 years. He officially started on May 10th.
