Sheppard Mullin Advises RealD Inc. On Its $249 Million Secondary Public Offering of Common Stock

RealD Inc. (NYSE:  RLD), a leading global licensor of 3D technologies, today closed on a secondary offering of 8,987,251 shares of RealD common stock, including 1,172,250 shares issued upon the exercise in full of the underwriters over-allotment option, at the public offering price of $27.75 per share.  All of the shares were sold by existing stockholders and RealD did not sell any shares of common stock in the secondary offering and will not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders.

Pinsent Masons Advises Yule Catto on £376 Million German Acquisition of PolymerLatex and £225 Million Rights Issue

International law firm Pinsent Masons is advising Yule Catto & Co plc (Yule Catto), the international producer of speciality chemicals on its acquisition of the entire share capital of PolymerLatex Deutschland GmbH (PolymerLatex), the leading global player in latex products, for €443 million (£376 million) from Towerbrook Capital Partners (UK). Completion is conditional upon approval by Yule Catto’s shareholders at a general meeting to be held on 30 December 2010 and by European competition authorities.
