Hologic, Inc. (Hologic or the Company) (Nasdaq: HOLX), a leading developer, manufacturer and supplier of premium diagnostics, medical imaging systems and surgical products dedicated to serving the healthcare needs of women, announced today it has acquired Interlace Medical, Inc. (Interlace), the developer and manufacturer of the MyoSure hysteroscopic tissue removal system (MyoSure). Interlace’s operations will be integrated within Hologic’s GYN Surgical Products division.

Linklaters Advises Banks on Financing of the Biggest Wind-energy Project in the German North Sea

After almost three years of developing the project, now the way is cleared for the construction of the Trianel Wind Farm Borkum (TWB). At the TWB general meeting, the 34 shareholders from Germany, Austria, the Netherlands and Switzerland agreed on the construction resolution regardingthe first construction phase of the offshore wind farm; the corresponding financing agreements have now been signed in Frankfurt. Covering an area 56 km2, the wind farm is situated about 45 km off the northern coast of the island of Borkum and directly adjacent to Alpha Ventus, Germany’s first offshore wind farm.

Salans Advises Invesco Real Estate on Real Estate Portfolio Acquisition Valued at EUR 218 Million

Salans LLP and Heisse Kursawe Eversheds have advised the real estate investment manager Invesco Real Estate GmbH (IRE) on its purchase of a real estate portfolio with a value of approximately EUR 218 million. Together with the French issuer CILOGER, IRE acquired ten newly built retail shopping centres with an overall rental area of 100,000 square metres. The deal constitutes one of the biggest transactions in the German segment of retail real estate in 2010.
