Simpson Thacher Represents KKR, Silver Lake and TCV in Proposed Partnership with Go Daddy

The firm is representing a consortium comprised of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., Silver Lake Partners and Technology Crossover Ventures in connection with the execution of a definitive agreement to provide a strategic investment and enter into a partnership with The Go Daddy Group, Inc. (“Go Daddy”). The transaction was announced July 1, 2011. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

LLC, RBS Securities Inc., UBS Securities LLC, Barclays Capital Inc., BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., Mizuho Securities USA Inc. and Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., as co-managers, in connection with Teck Resources Limited’s US$2 billion offering of US$300,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 3.15% notes due 2017, US$700,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 4.75% notes due 2022 and US$1,000,000,000 aggregate principal amount of 6.25% notes due 2041. The notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by Teck’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Teck Metals Ltd.
