Milbank Represents Underwriters in US$978 Million Arcos Dorados’ Follow-On Equity Offering

International law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy, LLP, led by Global Securities partners Marcelo Mottesi and Paul Denaro, represented Citigroup Global Markets Inc., J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated, Itau BBA USA Securities Inc. and Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC, as underwriters in the follow-on sale of shares of Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc. (“Arcos Dorados”). The underwriters fully exercised their over-allotment option to purchase a total of 44,475, 958 shares from the selling shareholders raising US$978 million.

Willkie’s Paris Office Advises on Public Private Partnership for France’s Eco-Tax Project

The firm’s Paris office recently advised Ecomouv, a consortium lead by Autostrade per l’Italia, the leading European concessionaire for toll motorway construction and management, and its parent company, Atlantia, on the negotiation of the Public Private Partnership (PPP) contract with the French State and of the financing documents and the drafting and negotiation of all industrial contracts for the design, construction, operation and maintenance of the Eco-tax project, an automatic taxation system of heavy-trucks on the French motorway’s network. The project is expected to generate €1.2 billion annually in revenue for the State.
