Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international energy, technology, and life sciences law firm, has added Cody Carper as a partner in its Houston office, where he will serve as co-chair of the Oil and Gas Practice, strengthening the firm’s capabilities in upstream and midstream oil and gas transactions driven by private equity investment. Carper joins from Weil, Gotshal & Manges, where he led complex energy transactions for private equity sponsors and management teams, as well as public and private oil and gas companies.
