Goodwin Procter Expands Intellectual Property Litigation Practice with Addition of New Partners in Los Angeles

Goodwin Procter today announced that Terry D. Garnett and Vincent K. Yip have joined the firm’s Litigation Department in its Los Angeles office as partners in Goodwin’s Patent Litigation Practice. They will both focus on high-stakes patent litigation and licensing matters with an emphasis on the information technology industry.

Abraham Shashy Jr. Re-joins King & Spalding as Leader of Global Tax Practice Group

Abraham N.M. “Hap” Shashy, Jr., former chief counsel of the Internal Revenue Service, is rejoining King & Spalding’s Washington, D.C., office as a partner and chair of the global tax practice group, the firm announced today. Shashy joins King & Spalding from Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP, where he was Washington office managing partner and leader of the Washington tax practice.

King & Spalding Continues Expansion of its Litigation Practice with the Addition of David Balser and Larry Slovensky in Atlanta

Slovensky, a prominent litigator, have joined the business litigation practice of King & Spalding as partners in the Atlanta, Ga., office, the firm announced today. The two lawyers join King & Spalding from McKenna Long & Aldridge, where they were partners.
