Hogan Lovells Advises Russian Mining Company on the Sale of a 50% Stake in Yaroslavskaya Gornorudnaya Kompaniya

Hogan Lovells advised  RGRK (Russian Mining Company) on the sale of a 50% stake in a limited liability company “Yaroslavskaya Gornorudnaya Kompaniya”, the sole producer and supplier of fluorspar concentrate in Russia, to the Hong Kong listed aluminium and alumina giant UC RUSAL.  As a result of the deal, UC RUSAL will strengthen its own resource base as it looks to be self-sufficient in raw materials.  The deal, which signed in January 2012, will complete in the week of 13 February.

Morgan Securities LLC, KDB Asia Limited and The Royal Bank of Scotland plc as underwriters in connection with a Schedule B debt offering by The Korea Development Bank of $750 million in aggregate principal amount of its 3.5% notes due 2017.
