(Littler), the nation’s largest employment and labor law firm representing management, has added a group of three attorneys to the firm’s expanding Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. Two new shareholders and an associate from Seyfarth Shaw LLP—David M. Weiner, Judith L. Wethall and D. Finn Pressly—have joined Littler’s Chicago office. The trio brings with them extensive retirement benefit, health and welfare benefit and executive compensation experience. Their arrival follows a string of recent additions to the firm’s national Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice, including Joni Andrioff (Chicago), Mark Grushkin (Los Angeles), Sam Stein (Los Angeles) and Dan Wille (Pittsburgh), who all joined Littler in the last six months.

Wille as a shareholder in its ERISA and Benefit Plan Litigation and Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practices. Wille, formerly of Reed Smith LLP, brings nearly 25 years of benefits litigation and 23 years of substantive benefits experience to Littler’s growing Pittsburgh office.

The Portland office of global law firm K&L Gates LLP welcomes Dori Gilbert as a partner in its labor and employment practice. Gilbert, who worked with Preston Gates & Ellis LLP (now K&L Gates) from 2000 to 2004, rejoins the firm from the communications agency of Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, where she served as vice president of legal and business affairs.

Cozen O’Connor announced that patent litigators Richard T. Ruzich, Kerry B. McTigue, Barry Golob, Donald R. McPhail, Joseph M. Bennett-Paris, Ph.D, Ian Scott and Blake Coblentz have joined the firm’s rapidly expanding intellectual property group as Members. Two associates have also joined the firm –Aaron S. Lukas, Ph.D. and Elese Hanson. The nine attorneys joined Cozen from Duane Morris and are based out of offices spread over Chicago, Washington, D.C., New York and Atlanta. They work together closely and focus their practices on complex patent litigation, to include representation of generic drug manufacturers in Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA)/biosimilars litigation and consumer electronics corporations in district court patent infringement actions across the United States.
