Caplin & Drysdale Welcomes Elan Keller to New York Tax Practice

Caplin & Drysdale announced today that Elan P. Keller has joined the firm as a member in its New York office. Mr. Keller will be part of the Corporate, Business & Transactional TaxInternational Tax, and Tax Controversies practice groups. He was previously a Managing Director and Tax Director of Macquarie Holdings (USA) Inc. (“Macquarie”), where he oversaw Macquarie Americas’ diverse structural and transaction-based initiatives from a tax perspective, including matters relating to domestic and international M&A; infrastructure and leasing transactions; structured finance and capital markets transactions; transfer pricing; fixed income; and oil, gas, energy, and natural resource transactions.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Bill Mason Will Join Bricker & Eckler

Paul Hastings LLP, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm represented Real Estate Capital Asia Partners III and its investment manager, SC Capital Partners, in the formation of a $530 million fund that will focus on real estate investment opportunities in Asia. The fund held its final closing on August 13, 2012, raising capital from a diverse institutional investor base including, among others, public and private pension funds, funds of funds, endowments, and private foundations. Paul Hastings also represented the fund in establishing a $50 million subscription line credit facility.
