Sidley’s Dallas Office Welcomes Restructuring Partner Rakhee V. Patel

Sidley is pleased to announce the addition of partner Rakhee V. Patel to its Restructuring group. She joins Texas-based partners Duston McFaul and Charles Persons in Sidley’s growing global Restructuring practice, on the heels of the recently announced addition of London-based partner Kieran Sharma. Ms. Patel is a key component of Sidley’s focus on the growth of its company-side restructuring representations worldwide. Prior to joining Sidley, Ms. Patel was a partner with a national firm in their corporate restructuring and bankruptcy practice group and has more than 26-years of experience in the field. Patel arrives from Winstead PC in Dallas.

Reed Smith Expands West Coast Private Equity Practice; Adds Christopher Raidy as Partner in Orange County

Global law firm Reed Smith announced today that Christopher Raidy has joined the firm as a partner in its Global Corporate Group. Raidy, who will be based out of Reed Smith’s recently-opened Orange County office, brings to the firm a practice that focuses on representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in complex debt financing transactions. He joins Reed Smith from Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
