Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Chinese Zhejiang Sanhua Co. Ltd. on the acquisition of AWECO Group. In addition to customer contracts, the technology and the production facilities in Germany, Austria, Poland, China and Slovakia were acquired by means of a mixed asset and share deal.

Squire Sanders Represents J. P. Morgan Securities in Dominican Republic’s Largest-Ever International Bond Offering

The Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic office of Squire Sanders acted as local counsel for J. P. Morgan Securities LLC as sole initial purchaser in the successful issuance by Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI, S.A. (“Aerodom”) of US$550 million of 9.250% Senior Secured Notes due 2019, with Bank of New York Mellon as Trustee. This is the largest international bond offering, at the lowest interest rate, by a private corporation in the history of the Dominican Republic. Partner Pedro O. Gamundi, Senior Associate Rhina M. Martinez and Associate Leyla Hernandez handled this transaction on behalf of the firm.

Weil Advises Providence Equity in Connection with YES Network – News Corp. Transaction

Weil advised Providence Equity Partners, a minority partner in Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network (YES), in News Corporation’s acquisition of a 49 percent stake in YES.
