Akin Gump today announced that global financial restructuring leader Sam Brodie has rejoined the firm as a partner in its financial restructuring practice in London. Brodie was a partner at Akin Gump from 2018 to 2021, and his return strengthens the firm’s leading financial restructuring practice in London as global macroeconomic trends increasingly impact clients across all industries. Brodie rejoins the firm from Shearman & Sterling LLP.
Shannon M. Kasley has joined McGuireWoods’ global litigation practice as a partner in Washington, D.C., bringing 25 years of experience representing multinational companies in commercial and civil litigation and appeals, including clients in the oil and gas industry. He joins McGuireWoods from King & Spalding.
Holland & Knight has strengthened its national public finance practice with the addition of Faust Bowerman as a tax partner. He will work in both the New York and Austin, Texas, offices at the firm. Mr. Bowerman was previously a partner at Hawkins Delafield & Wood LLP.
