Allen & Overy has advised China Construction Bank (CCB), the second largest bank in the world based on market value, on the set up of its European base in Luxembourg. CCB is the third Chinese bank to establish a base in Luxembourg after Bank of China and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC).

Skadden is representing Activision Blizzard, Inc., a global leader in interactive entertainment, in its $5.83 billion separation from Vivendi through an acquisition of company shares, announced on July 26. Concurrently, an investment vehicle led by Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick and Co-Chairman Brian Kelly is separately purchasing Activision Blizzard shares from Vivendi for $2.34 billion. Following the completion of the transactions, Activision Blizzard will be an independent company.

The euro-denominated notes are listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
