King & Spalding has recruited projects lawyer Brendan Hundt as a partner in its Corporate, Finance and Investments (CFI) practice group in the United Arab Emirates. Hundt will split time between the firm’s Abu Dhabi and Dubai offices as a member of its Middle East Energy and Project Finance team. Hundt was most recently a partner in the Dubai office of Shearman & Sterling.
National law firm Akerman LLP with 24 U.S. offices expanded its largest office, New York, and its global reach with corporate partner Michael Doherty. Doherty joins the Corporate Practice Group from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP.
Global law firm White & Case LLP has expanded its Global Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Practice with the addition of Kimberly Petillo-Décossard and Ross Sturman as partners in New York. Petillo-Décossard and Sturman both arrive to White & Case from Cahill Gordon & Reindel, where Petillo-Décossard was co-chair of the M&A and corporate advisory practice, and where they both started their legal careers.
Allen & Overy (“A&O”) today announced that Romain Dambre has joined the firm as a partner in its U.S. Corporate practice. Romain joins A&O’s New York office from Kirkland & Ellis, where he was a partner in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Private Equity practice.
