Davis Polk advised China Merchants Securities (HK) Co., Limited, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Deutsche Bank AG, Singapore Branch, Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited and UBS AG, Hong Kong Branch as initial purchasers of a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering by Evergrande Real Estate Group Limited of $500 million aggregate principal amount of the company’s 8.75% additional senior notes due 2018. The additional notes will be consolidated and form a single series with the 8.75% senior notes due 2018 issued by the company on October 30, 2013.

Winston & Strawn LLP has announced that two attorneys have joined the firm’s transactional practice from Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy. Edward V. Kayukov and Laurae Rossi, both project finance attorneys, join Winston & Strawn as partners in the Los Angeles office. The firm has now welcomed approximately 20 attorneys in the last 12 months to its Los Angeles office. Thompson Hine LLP is pleased to announce that Tammy Bieber, a securities litigator, has joined its New York office as a partner in the Business Litigation practice, which the firm has identified as a growth area for the office. She previously was a partner at Shearman & Sterling LLP and spent time at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she served as a senior legal adviser to the Chief Accountant. Bieber is the third partner to join the Business Litigation practice in New York in recent months; the firm recently hired Michael W.
