Sheppard Mullin Expands In Houston With Prominent Labor And Employment Litigator Angeles Garcia Cassin

Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Angeles Garcia Cassin has joined the firm’s Houston office as a partner in the Labor & Employment practice group. Cassin was most recently a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig.

Cassin is a skilled labor and employment and commercial disputes trial attorney. She defends companies against claims of discrimination, retaliation, unpaid wages and misappropriation of trade secrets in addition to representing companies in breach of contract and related commercial claims. Cassin’s employment counseling practice focuses on the healthcare, retail and e-commerce sectors. She advises clients and defends against claims arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Older Workers Benefits Protection Act, and the Family and Medical Leave Act. She also handles litigation related to Title VII discrimination and retaliation as well as workers’ compensation retaliation claims.

Cassin received her B.A. from Wellesley College and her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where she was a member of the Houston Law Review.
