Polsinelli Continues to Grow its Capital Markets and Commercial Lending Capabilities with New Shareholder Priscilla O. Arthus

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli welcomes  Priscilla O. Arthus as a new shareholder based in the firm’s Houston office. Arthus joins the firm’s growing Capital Markets and Commercial Lending practice group. Prior to joining Polsinelli, Arthus was a finance associate Sidley Austin in Houston. 

Arthus brings a deep background to her practice focused on counseling sponsors, lenders and borrowers in connection with a wide range of debt financing transactions, including secured and unsecured lending transactions, leveraged acquisition financings, note purchase facilities, reserve-based and asset-based facilities, first lien/second lien transactions, syndicated credit facilities, direct lending transactions, real estate financings, debtor-in-possession (DIP) financings and other debt investments. Her experience spans a range of industries, including energy, aviation, retail and healthcare.

Croce and Zaiger were announced as Co-Chairs of the Capital Markets and Commercial Lending practice group the beginning of Q4 2022.
Arthus also previously served a two-year term as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Arenda Wright Allen in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
She has been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in the Houston metro area for her work in banking and finance in 2021 and 2022. The National Black Lawyers, composed of the top African American attorneys from across the country, also named her a “Top 40 Under 40” attorney in 2019. She is involved in numerous professional organizations including the Women’s Energy Network, the American Bar Association, the Texas Young Lawyers Association and the National Association of Women Lawyers.

Arthus earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholar. Arthus also served as a member of the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy & the Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree magna cum laude in accounting and finance and her master’s in accounting from the University of South Florida.
