Bracewell Represents Citibank in Financings Connected with CenterPoint’s Plans for $11 Billion Midstream MLP

Bracewell & Giuliani LLP is representing Citibank, as administrative agent and arranger, in $2.45 billion of debt financing for an $11 billion deal that would create one of the largest master limited partnerships (MLP) in the United States.

The midstream joint venture MLP will include Houston-based CenterPoint Energy Inc., ArcLight Capital Partners and Oklahoma City-based OGE Energy Corp. The deal is expected to close during the second or third quarter of 2013, with an IPO of the MLP’s units to follow.
