Lydia G. Tamez Hired by FosterQuan as Partner in Houston Office

National law firm FosterQuan hired Lydia G. Tamez as a partner for a Houston legal job, according to a press release.

With 26 years of immigration law experience and previously associate general counsel for the Microsoft Corporation, Tamez holds credentials that are both domestic and global.

At Microsoft, she guided strategic planning and managed programs and practices relating to immigration in more than 60 nations.

 

She honed, crafted and executed worldwide corporate compliance drives while overseeing intricate legal analyses for issues regarding family and employment immigration. Her credentials are expected to be of benefit to one of the biggest U.S. immigration law practices.

Tamez has previously testified before the state legislature of Washington on immigration issues.  She often delivers lectures at immigration conferences, both domestically and internationally.

Equipped with a law degree and an undergraduate degree from Yale University Law School, Tamez is admitted to the bars in Texas and Washington and can argue cases before the U.S. Supreme Court and the U.S. District Courts.
