Fulbright & Jaworski Welcomes Return Of Kevin McDonald

International law firm Fulbright & Jaworski hired Kevin McDonald for a Houston legal job–a full-circle moment in the attorney’s legal career–as reported in a press release.

McDonald will assume a partner role with the practice and said he is enthused about the opportunity to return to the law firm where he first kicked off his legal career in 1992.

He devoted 10 years to working in the Houston and Austin offices of the law practice.

“Kevin became a fine lawyer during his time at Fulbright, and we welcome him back to the firm,” chairman Steven B. Pfeiffer with the firm’s executive committee said. “Kevin has proven leadership abilities, and he will be a tremendous asset to the litigation and corporate governance practices.”

After leaving the firm, McDonald served in management roles with the corporate legal units of Cooper Industries, Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and Valero Energy Corporation. His practice includes extensive experience in litigation, corporate governance and crisis management.

In 2008, McDonald was named “Best Up and Comer” by the Texas General Counsel Forum.
